Indiana State University hosted the NCAA Cross Country Championships Nov. 25 at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course on the east side of Terre Haute. Thirty-one men's teams and 31 women's teams competed for titles. The daughter of former ISU All-American Cheryl Treworgy -- favored North Carolina junior Shalane Flanagan -- won the 6-kilometer women's race. Colorado senior Jorge Torres took first place in the 10k men's race.
