admission criteria
students entering with RN licensure
Admission is competitive
- Unconditional admission to the University as a degree-seeking student
- Complete application to the
nursing program
- Approved national level
criminal
background check
- Current Indiana R.N. license (unrestricted)
- Equivalent in the
geographical location where the student will be doing his/her preceptorship or clinical practicum
- Applicant may be admitted
conditionally
- Formal admission pending receipt/verification of
licensure no later than the time of enrollment in the first clinical
nursing course
- Earned associate degree with a major in nursing from a program
accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission,
Inc. (NLNAC) in an accredited collegiate institution.
- Application of a graduate from an accredited diploma program or an
associate degree program that is not accredited will be evaluated
through Admission Portfolio review.
