Portfolio Review

The portfolio review process for RN-BS students is undergoing revision so the student is highly encouraged to verify the current process before beginning work on materials to submit.

Admission Portfolio Review is available to registered nurses who are graduates from either a diploma nursing program accredited by National League of Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or an associate degree nursing program that is not accredited by NLNAC.

A maximum of 31 nursing credit hours can be earned by Admission Portfolio Review.

The student MUST contact the faculty of record BEFORE preparing a nursing course portfolio.

Professional portfolio review is designed to provide the experienced nurse with the opportunity to demonstrate successful attainment of course objectives for specific nursing courses (NURS 304, NURS 318, NURS 322, and / or NURS 470) and be awarded up to 10 semester hours of credit for this professional knowledge.
