Once you open a service page, you will see a blue request or report button in the upper right. Click the button and fill out the requested information. This will create a ticket that will be automatically routed to the appropriate team within OIT.
OIT is the campus leader in identifying, implementing and supporting technologies, services and practices that support the strategic priorities and daily operations of ISU.
Our goals at any point in time may be characterized in two dimensions:
OIT developed an IT plan for ISU in 2016/17. The presentation linked below outlines the foundations of the plan and provides a view of goals and initiatives. OIT has also developed a timeline for major initiatives that is included in the planning document. This timeline will be updated periodically for current status of projects throughout the window covered by the plan (2017 – 2021).
OIT is currently organized around major areas of technology services: end user support, enterprise application support, and infrastructure support. These areas naturally focus expertise and knowledge in certain ways. However, we strive for an environment within OIT that emphasizes communication, collaboration, and close working relationships so that organizational lines developed for practical management and planning purposes do not become barriers when it comes to service delivery.
