We do not ticket during move-in unless the vehicle is impeding traffic. Move-in days are Thursday – Sunday, Aug 18-21. Ticketing will begin on Monday, August 22 for ALL violations- vehicles must be in the proper lots at 7am on Monday morning to avoid a ticket. Vehicles parked in the driveways will be towed without warning. Driveway parking is parking at the end of a regular row/aisle.
If you buy a permit, you can have 2 tickets waived for “no permit” as long as you are in the correct (student) lot and you buy your permit within 5 days of the date of the ticket. You must bring the ticket into our office in order for it to be waived.
Guest permits are available for guests for a day or two at a time for $3/day. If the student has a valid permit they may request up to 3 one-day guest permits a month. If there is no student permit, the guest will have to come in with a picture ID and request the permit.
Parking regulations are enforced at all times. You must be in the proper lot from 7am – 5 pm Monday thru Friday. Lots open at 5pm weekdays and remain open on weekends. The only time we cease ticketing is during periods of time when the University is closed – no staff on campus.
Parking lots C, D, G on 9^th Street are easily accessible at all times. There are several new lots: N (11^th and Chestnut), O- Boys Club, R & S (1^st and 2^nd) Baseball Lot (1st and Locust. The lot by Hardees is not ISU owned.
Handicap and Security escorts are available – call X 5555 (237-5555) or press the info button on a bluelight phone to arrange.
Permits are $125 and available on-line this year. Everyone parking in a parking lot must have a permit.
Handicap violations are $75 – even if you are only parking to unload/load something. The disabled person must be in the vehicle with you in order to use a handicap permit.
Parking is not allowed at any time in Yellow Zones. The tickets for this violation are $20.
We boot vehicles after 5 tickets, paid or unpaid. You must pay $50 + any outstanding tickets to remove the boot. Must be paid in cash or credit within 48 hours. After 48 hrs – the vehicle will be removed from campus.
