Registered student organizations are provided information and guidance concerning the appropriate campus policies and procedures, maintaining and promoting access to campus resources and services, in addition to, offering assistance regarding leadership development and advising.

Student Activities & Organizations (SAO) has changed its registration process from paper-based to online. Student organizations will now be registering online through the “ISU TreeHouse” powered by OrgSync.
The TreeHouse is now available through the ISU Portal. To access the ISU Portal, click here
If you attended the launches and initially registered your organization that was only the first step (there’s more)! There is critical information contained in this email, please read it in its entirety and act accordingly.
Registration Deadline Info: The student organization registration dates for the 2011-12 academic school year start April 15 and registration closes September 15, 2011.
Required Registration Forms
The forms are NOW available to all student organizations. If you’d had issues in the past, please try now. There are 2 forms* that need to be completed by ALL student organizations in order to be considered completely registered.
- Organization Registration (must upload a constitution)
- National Organization Affiliation
- Additional Chapter and Student Alumni Leadership Information (Greeks-Only)

Benefits of Using ISU TreeHouse (powered by OrgSync):
All organizations fully registered by September 15, 2011 will have these privileges:
- Eligible to apply for funding from the Student Government Association (SGA)
- Reserve rooms through the HMSU Room Reservations
- Access agency accounts through the Office of the Controller
- Ability to “branch out” to over 175 organizations and 100s of ISU students
