While insurance is not required, it is highly recommended. If you are currently covered under your parents insurance make sure that it will still cover you while you are away from the coverage area. |

Health InsuranceAssociated Insurance PlansThe Student Health Center has recently changed student insurance providers. Students who were insured with Academic Health Plans will continue to be insured until the new semester starts. Then their insurance will expire. The new provider is Associated insurance Plans. This plan is available to ISU students for less than the previous insurance plan. Go to their website for more information. This link will direct you the Associated Insurance Plans web-site. You will find all of the information you need to sign up for the ISU Student insurance. The ISU Student Health Center will now also bill other outside insurance plans. If you are covered by another insurance company, you will need to bring proof of insurance with you when you come to the student health center. Student who are not insured will still be able to be seen at the student health center and will receive the same standard of care.
