Professional Development Schools (PDS)

Goals

In order to successfully link school reform to reform in educator preparation, the Indiana State University PDS program aims to:

Goal 1: Provide enhanced learning environments for ALL pupils in the PDS sites;

Goal 2: Provide optimal environments for early field experiences for pre-service educators in schools committed to restructuring and continued professional development for faculty;

Goal 3: Provide meaningful professional development for school and university faculty based on their needs and selected by them;

Goal 4: Support school/university collaborative inquiry and the exchange of professional knowledge in teaching and learning.
