Examinations & Grades:
Each semester will have 6 exams (usually 75 questions each) and
a final exam.
For spring semester, the final examination is the Pathology Subject Examination from the National Board of Medical Examiners
Each of the 6 exams counts for 100 points.
The percent score on the final is doubled.
Therefore, semester grade is based on 800 points.
The Subject Examination final exam must be passed in order to pass the semester, regardless of the cumulative semester score.
Grades are given as:
92 or above Honors
82-91
High pass
70-90
Pass
Less than 70 Fail
Student presentation and participation at Organ Recitals will be
taken into consideration to upgrade the final grade, if
deserving and necessary.
