Indiana State University celebrated its 131st commencement May 4 at Hulman Center. Nearly 1,500 students were eligible to participate in the ceremony. A highlight of this year's festivities was the return of 80-year-old alumnus and World War II Veteran Gib Coleman, who elected to participate in commencement exercises 59 years after he earned his degree in education.
