Located on the campus of Indiana State University in Terre Haute, the Turman Gallery is a professionally directed exhibition space that features artists of national and regional importance, along with periodic exhibits of work by faculty and students. The main goal of the Turman is to provide exhibits that explore important themes in contemporary art. These exhibits are complemented by a regular series of publications, artists demonstrations, and gallery talks. The Turman is currently closed for the summer. Many of the works in the ISU Permanent Collection can be seen at various locations on the campus. Please check back for the schedule of exhibitions and artist's lectures for the 1997-98 season.
